WaveDrom

WaveDrom is the de-facto standard for digital timing diagrams in hardware documentation: signals, clocks, and buses described as JSON, with per-cycle wave strings that read almost like the waveform itself. The same engine draws register and bit-field layouts. Below: a valid/ready handshake with an annotated transfer window (Figure 1) and a two-lane instruction encoding (Figure 2). Click to zoom.
